Always meet your match in busy, well-lit areas of the park. Main Street U.S.A., park entrances, and popular dining locations are great choices. Disney properties are designed with visibility and foot traffic in mind -- use that to your advantage.
Let a friend or family member know your plans before meeting someone new. Share where you'll be, who you're meeting, and when you expect to be done. Consider using your phone's location-sharing feature so someone you trust can check in on you.
Look for the verified badge on profiles. Mouse Match offers photo verification to help confirm that users are who they say they are. Be cautious of profiles with very few details or that seem too good to be true.
Don't share personal contact information too soon. Keep your early conversations within Mouse Match where our safety features are active. Our messaging system is monitored for harmful content and gives you the ability to report and block users if needed.
If something feels off, it probably is. You are never obligated to stay in a conversation or continue a meetup that makes you uncomfortable. Trust your gut, make an excuse if you need to, and leave. Your comfort and safety always come first.
Disney security is always nearby and trained to handle any situation discreetly. If you ever feel unsafe, look for a Cast Member or visit any Guest Relations location. You can also call Disney security directly from any park phone or ask at any shop or restaurant.
Use the in-app report feature to flag any user who behaves inappropriately, makes you uncomfortable, or violates our community guidelines. Reports are reviewed by our trust and safety team within hours and are kept confidential.
There's no rush -- enjoy the magic. The best connections happen naturally. Don't feel pressured to share personal information, leave the park with someone, or move faster than you're comfortable with. Mouse Match is designed to let relationships develop at your own pace.
