Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using Mouse Match. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1 Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, downloading, or using the Mouse Match application ("App") or any related services (collectively, the "Service"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Mouse Match, Inc. ("Mouse Match," "we," "us," or "our"). We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting an updated version on our website or through the App. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

2 Eligibility

To use the Service, you must meet the following requirements:

  • You must be at least 18 years of age at the time of registration. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old.
  • You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement and not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable law.
  • You must agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
  • You must not have been previously banned or removed from the Service.
  • You must not be a registered sex offender in any jurisdiction.

Mouse Match reserves the right to verify your age and eligibility at any time, and to refuse, suspend, or terminate access if eligibility requirements are not met.

3 Account Registration

To access the full features of the Service, you must create an account. When registering, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process, including your real name, date of birth, and a genuine photograph of yourself.
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.
  • Maintain only one account per person. Creating multiple accounts is prohibited and may result in immediate termination of all accounts.
  • Keep your account credentials confidential. You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, whether or not authorized by you.
  • Notify us immediately at legal@mousematch.com if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account or any other security breach.

Mouse Match is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain the security of your account credentials.

4 The Service

Mouse Match is a location-based dating platform designed exclusively for use on Walt Disney Company theme parks, resorts, and cruise ship properties. The Service enables users who are physically present on eligible Disney properties to discover, connect with, and communicate with other users in the same location.

The Service may include, but is not limited to, the following features:

  • Profile creation and customization, including photos, biographical information, and Disney-specific preferences.
  • Location-based discovery of other users currently on the same Disney property.
  • Matching algorithms that consider user preferences, interests, and proximity within a property.
  • In-app messaging and communication tools between matched users.
  • Meeting point suggestions tied to specific locations within Disney properties.
  • Premium features available through Mouse Match Plus subscriptions.

Mouse Match reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time without prior notice. We do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times or in all locations.

5 Location Requirements

The Service is designed to function exclusively on Disney property, including but not limited to Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort, Disney Cruise Line vessels, Disneyland Paris, Tokyo Disney Resort, Hong Kong Disneyland, and Shanghai Disney Resort.

By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree to the following location-related terms:

  • GPS Verification Required. The App requires access to your device's GPS or location services to verify that you are physically present on an eligible Disney property. The Service will not function if location access is denied or if you are not on Disney property.
  • Location Accuracy. While we strive for accurate location verification, GPS technology has inherent limitations. Mouse Match is not responsible for any inaccuracies in location detection.
  • No Spoofing. Any attempt to falsify, spoof, or manipulate your GPS location is a violation of these Terms and will result in immediate account termination.
  • Privacy Protection. Your exact location is never shared with other users. Only your general presence within a Disney property is disclosed. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Important Disclaimer: Mouse Match is an independent company and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with The Walt Disney Company or any of its subsidiaries. The use of Disney property names is solely to describe the geographic areas where the Service operates.

6 User Conduct

You agree to use the Service in a respectful, lawful manner. When using Mouse Match, you shall not:

  • Harass, intimidate, stalk, or threaten any other user, whether through the App, in person, or through any other means.
  • Send spam, unsolicited communications, or bulk messages to other users.
  • Create fake or misleading profiles, including using photos of another person, providing false biographical information, or impersonating another individual.
  • Use the Service for any commercial purpose, including advertising, solicitation, or promotion of goods or services.
  • Engage in discriminatory behavior based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
  • Share or solicit personal contact information (phone numbers, addresses, social media handles) in a manner that violates another user's privacy or comfort.
  • Use the Service while impaired by alcohol or drugs in a manner that could endanger yourself or others.
  • Violate any applicable law or regulation, including any rules or policies of the Disney properties where you are using the Service.

Respect other users at all times. Mouse Match is a community built on trust and genuine connection. Violations of these conduct standards may result in warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent termination of your account.

7 Content

You retain ownership of all content that you submit, post, or display through the Service ("User Content"), including profile photos, biographical text, and messages. By submitting User Content, you grant Mouse Match a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, display, and distribute your User Content in connection with operating and improving the Service.

You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to your User Content and that it does not violate the rights of any third party.

The following types of content are strictly prohibited:

  • Sexually explicit or pornographic material.
  • Content depicting violence, abuse, or self-harm.
  • Content that promotes illegal activity.
  • Copyrighted material for which you do not hold the rights.
  • Content that is hateful, discriminatory, or promotes bigotry.
  • Photos that do not depict you or that are misleading.
  • Content containing personal information of third parties without their consent.

Mouse Match reserves the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable, at our sole discretion and without prior notice.

8 Mouse Match Plus

Mouse Match offers a premium subscription service, "Mouse Match Plus," which provides access to enhanced features, including but not limited to unlimited likes, advanced filters, read receipts, and priority profile placement.

By subscribing to Mouse Match Plus, you agree to the following terms:

  • Subscription Fees. Subscription pricing is displayed within the App at the time of purchase. All fees are quoted in United States Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated.
  • Auto-Renewal. Your Mouse Match Plus subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or annually, depending on your selected plan) unless you cancel auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
  • Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's app store settings (Apple App Store or Google Play Store). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of a subscription period.
  • Price Changes. Mouse Match reserves the right to change subscription prices. We will provide reasonable notice of any price increases, and such changes will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
  • Free Trials. If you receive a free trial of Mouse Match Plus, you must cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged. Trial eligibility is limited to one per user.

9 Termination

Mouse Match reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Grounds for termination include, but are not limited to:

  • Violation of these Terms or any other Mouse Match policies.
  • Conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be harmful to other users, Mouse Match, or third parties.
  • Use of the Service for any fraudulent, deceptive, or illegal purpose.
  • Repeated reports from other users regarding your behavior.
  • Failure to meet eligibility requirements.

You may delete your account at any time through the App's settings. Upon account deletion, your profile and associated data will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Certain data may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

Termination of your account does not relieve you of any obligations or liabilities that arose prior to termination.

10 Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE. MOUSE MATCH SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Mouse Match does not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
  • Any defects in the Service will be corrected.
  • The results obtained from using the Service will be accurate or reliable.
  • Any matches or connections made through the Service will lead to satisfactory outcomes.

Mouse Match is not responsible for the conduct of any user, whether online or offline. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users. We strongly recommend reviewing our Safety Tips before meeting anyone in person.

Mouse Match does not conduct criminal background checks on its users. We do not verify the statements or representations made by users in their profiles.

11 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL MOUSE MATCH, ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO:

  • Your access to, use of, or inability to use the Service.
  • Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service.
  • Any content obtained from the Service.
  • Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

IN NO EVENT SHALL MOUSE MATCH'S AGGREGATE LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID TO MOUSE MATCH IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

12 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, Florida. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts and waive any objection to venue in such courts.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
